Barb, no, I am speaking about *pre-trib rarpute teaching* and not rarpute in general. So, of course there would be historical precedence in the early Church for such things to come up as they read and studied the Scriptures. No qualms there. That was not an issue for me but you seem to misunderstand me. Please keep in mind the difference between rarpute and pre-trib rarpute. Those are different issues. No, I wasn’t there, please don’t try to make me look presumptuous. And please don’t spoil the well by saying I am trying to speak with such authority . Now others might think I am a know it all . That is ad hominem coloring of my character. And frankly you sound a bit authoritarian yourself if we want to play that game. (wink wink) I have sufficient resources about the beginnings of pre-trib rarpute teachings.You asked your readers if they agreed with the rarpute as depicted in the videos, I said I didn’t and attempted give a little background on the beginnings of pre-trib viewpoint and then stated I thought it was a complex eschatological event included with the 2nd coming, the resurrection of the dead and final judgement. Now, I do believe that it isn’t relative to believe on and not the other. I can’t go into the reasons here but I think it has a huge impact on what one thinks their purpose is on this earth.Take care.

Sadly, the government doesn’t work efvetcifely. They take $20 million in jobs and cut them, then open bids for the privatization of the unfilled positions and award a contract to a civilian company to fill these jobs for $75 million. Ya ever wonder which congressmen own stock in these private civilian companies? Look at the voting record for the contract. Sure, they cut the jobs, but it is costing the taxpayer more. Look at the military supply system, which includes GSA if you have any doubts about the corruption of the system we currently enjoy . August 09, 2012

Very good article, well written and concise.
Only problem I see is that the banking/governmental money cartel will not give up their position easily and, as has been amply shown down through history, to be more than willing to kill a whole lot of citizens in the hope of maintaining their advantage. These people are not concerned with the whole, only their slice of the pie. Of course, it will be done ‘legally” since they are the ones that create and modify the laws according to their own whim.

My only recommendation is on a personal level. That is, to live off the grid in self sustaining lifestyles so when the shtf one has a little maneuvering space. Oh, and don’t put anything of value in a bank! That’s all a free person can hope for these days.

85 civilians, inducling 33 children and 32 women, have been killed in a NATO air strike on a village in the western part of the country.According to the BBC, the attack took place in Majar, south of Zlitan. Libyan officials say 85 innocent civilians were killed; international journalists saw dozens of body bags, some containing women and children, at a hospital in Zlitan.NATO has confirmed carrying out the strike, but says the target was of a military nature.“NATO had very clear intelligence demonstrating that former farm buildings were being used as a staging point for pro-Gaddafi forces to conduct attacks against the people of Libya,” a statement from the alliance said.But instead of protecting the Libyan people, as the U.N. resolution authorizing the use of force against Gaddafi’s forces mandates, NATO has been killing them.“[NATO] does not differentiate between soldiers, children and old people,” medical student Abdulkader al-Hawali told Reuters at Zlitan hospital.A 15-year-old girl, Salwa Jawu, told reporters that her mother, two sisters, brother and his wife were all killed in the latest air strikes. Salwa suffered a broken shoulder and wounds to her face in the attack as well.“I don’t know why they would attack us,” she told the BBC. “We are civilians.”It is believed that NATO bombed the village of Majar in order to allow anti-government rebels to advance on Zlitan from the coastal city of Misrata, which lies 45 miles (70km) to the east.Last week, a NATO air strike on Zlitan killed a mother and two children. Three civilians were also killed last week in a deliberate attack on Libyan state television. Late last month, NATO bombed a hospital in the same city, killing seven. In June, a deliberate NATO attack on the home of a Libyan government official killed 19 civilians, inducling eight children and a pregnant woman. That strike came just days after a “weapons system failure” resulted in the errant bombing of a family’s home, an attack which killed nine innocent civilians, inducling two babies. In May, NATO bombed the home of one of Gaddafi’s sons, killing him along with three of the dictator’s grandchildren. This is not a complete list of NATO’s slaughter of innocent Libyan civilians, the very people the alliance is supposedly protecting from Gaddafi’s wrath.

Jon Stewart kinda went to the point at the end of his bit 2 post back. When you or I say gun control, that’s what we are takling about. We have rational discussions about registration, sale and transfer, magazine size and military design. My big thing is training and certification. Lots of different approaches and I know that neither Barbara or any of the regulars have advocated for confiscation.When gun nuts hear the words gun control’ they think gun confiscation’. It’s no accident the gun magazines have been predicting and warning and stoking the fires of paranoia for years! Any gun enthusiast has been getting a steady stream of predictions that they are going to take your guns so they can take away your rights and then they are going to execute you like Stalin and Mao. I’m sorry to say this because it goes against my basic belief in finding common ground negotiating compromise. These people can’t be reasoned with. When gun control is proposed, regardless of what is actually there, some of these kooks will go off violently. And when the government doesn’t confiscate their guns, they will declare it’s because they scared away the feds.

Actually, this is monumental. Looking back to BOUMEDIENE v. BUSH, the honidlg was that if a detainee was deemed to be an enemy combatant , any habeas corpus claim would fail (due to sufficient evidence linking them to terrorism) but the point was that they had the right to at least file it. The enemy combatant determination fell to the trial court to decide, once the habeas corpus claim was filed. What will happen now that enemy combatant is an outdated term???Honestly, this is huge, and really confusing. It eviscerates the SCOTUS ruling.

I am finding it ever more diiclfuft to understand what you are saying, and it appears that you are having the same problem. I know your disdain for the socialconservatives agenda is one of your favorite hobby horses, (that and drug legalization) but it really seems to be fire aimed in the wrong direction. Let us postulate a man killed in battle. His big toe is blown off, he’s got a shrapnel wound in the torso, and a big freakin hole in his head. The cause of death was most likely the big freakin hole in his head, not the shot off big toe or the torso wound. I say that the Everyone who appears on television incessently criticizing our side and not only covering up for but Praising the other side constitues the “Big freakin Hole in the head”, while people turned off by “Cultural Conservatism” represents a shot off big toe. If the media people wouldn’t carry water for the other side, the cultural stuff would be incidental, and not a minus at all. (it didn’t hurt Reagan, did it?) Okay, enough from me. A great many ex-cons including those who are mebemrs of some’ minority groups who are more likely to be arrested are convicted of completely victimless crimes which wouldn’t effect their work performance if they had remained un-caught at all.The whole idea behind guaranteed outcomes’ is wrong-headed and can only lead to some extremely bad places, but then again, the idea of blanket bans on hiring ex-cons when the War on Drugs and other law enforcement sprees that target innocent citizens are on-going is kind of bad, too.This is a case where both big sides of the issue are wrong and the victim is the little guy who doesn’t have much control over anything in his own life, let alone in the lives of others like the big dogs.

I agree that they have not tested this vcanice enough, and even though I had cervical pre-cancer myself, I don’t think I’d want my 10 yr old daughter getting one just yet. My older daughter, (who is in the USAF), has already gotten one…because it was recommended by the AF doctor. She had the vcanice after my grandson, not sure if it will affect her fertility in the future.First of all though, calling it a “cervical cancer vcanice” is a misnomer; it is really an HPV vcanice. Boys get HPV too, and pass it on to girls, who may or may not get cervical cancer, but the majority of women who get it…also have HPV. So, from that standpoint, if they make it mandatory for girls…it should be for boys too, to stop the spread of the virus.Also, I am part of a study that is being done to see if some people are genetically predisposed to cervical cancer, so I hope they don’t jump the gun here and make it mandatory for anyone just yet.
