Pope Francis "Thinking Particularly of Dialogue With Islam"

By: Randall Hill

Pope_Francis2At a meeting Friday with diplomats to the Vatican, Pope Francis talked of the need to “build bridges” between other people and remarked that the word “Pontiff” actually means “a builder of bridges.”    The pope also spoke of the “protection of our environment.”

When the Pope speaks, people listen.  What some people heard in this latest speech is a move toward more tolerance and acceptance of opposing religions.  Could the Pope also have an environmental agenda?

With the world on the cusp of an economic collapse and warmongering rampant, could a one-world religion be next on the horizon?  If so, you can be certain that honoring “Mother Earth” will be the cornerstone of the faith when it arrives on the world stage.

An excerpt of Pope Francis’ speech is below.

“In this work, the role of religion is fundamental. It is not possible to build bridges between people while forgetting God. But the converse is also true: it is not possible to establish true links with God, while ignoring other people. Hence it is important to intensify dialogue among the various religions, and I am thinking particularly of dialogue with Islam. At the Mass marking the beginning of my ministry, I greatly appreciated the presence of so many civil and religious leaders from the Islamic world. And it is also important to intensify outreach to non-believers, so that the differences which divide and hurt us may never prevail, but rather the desire to build true links of friendship between all peoples, despite their diversity.

Fighting poverty, both material and spiritual, building peace and constructing bridges: these, as it were, are the reference points for a journey that I want to invite each of the countries here represented to take up. But it is a difficult journey, if we do not learn to grow in love for this world of ours. Here too, it helps me to think of the name of Francis, who teaches us profound respect for the whole of creation and the protection of our environment, which all too often, instead of using for the good, we exploit greedily, to one another’s detriment.”

Regardless of what you believe, we are certainly living in a time of “tolerance” of everything, except Christianity.  Christians living under Sharia Law in Muslim nations are treated like common criminals, with many paying the ultimate price for their beliefs.

Tolerance only exists in Western nations with Christian roots.

When you begin to hear Islamic clerics call for an end to the persecution of Christians in nations such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt, that’s when you know the end is nigh.coptic

Stunning Facts About How the Banking System Really Works … And How It Is Destroying America

Reclaiming the Founding Fathers’ Vision of Prosperity

money-toilet-rollTo understand the core problem in America today, we have to look back to the very founding of our country.

The Founding Fathers fought for liberty and justice. But they also fought for a sound economy and freedom from the tyranny of big banks:

“[It was] the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament which has caused in the colonies hatred of the English and . . . the Revolutionary War.” – Benjamin Franklin

“There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt.” – John Adams

“All the perplexities, confusion and distress in America arise, not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from the downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit and circulation.” – John Adams

“If the American people ever allow the banks to control issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers occupied”. — Thomas Jefferson

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies…The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the Government, to whom it properly belongs.” – Thomas Jefferson

“The Founding Fathers of this great land had no difficulty whatsoever understanding the agenda of bankers, and they frequently referred to them and their kind as, quote, ‘friends of paper money. They hated the Bank of England, in particular, and felt that even were we successful in winning our independence from England and King George, we could never truly be a nation of freemen, unless we had an honest money system. ” -Peter Kershaw, author of the 1994 booklet “Economic Solutions”

Indeed, everyone knows that the American colonists revolted largely because of taxation without representation and related forms of oppression by the British. See this and this. But – according to Benjamin Franklin and others in the thick of the action – a little-known factor was actually the main reason for the revolution.

To give some background on the issue, when Benjamin Franklin went to London in 1764, this is what he observed:

When he arrived, he was surprised to find rampant unemployment and poverty among the British working classes… Franklin was then asked how the American colonies managed to collect enough money to support their poor houses. He reportedly replied:

“We have no poor houses in the Colonies; and if we had some, there would be nobody to put in them, since there is, in the Colonies, not a single unemployed person, neither beggars nor tramps.”

In 1764, the Bank of England used its influence on Parliament to get a Currency Act passed that made it illegal for any of the colonies to print their own money. The colonists were forced to pay all future taxes to Britain in silver or gold. Anyone lacking in those precious metals had to borrow them at interest from the banks.

Only a year later, Franklin said, the streets of the colonies were filled with unemployed beggars, just as they were in England. The money supply had suddenly been reduced by half, leaving insufficient funds to pay for the goods and services these workers could have provided. He maintained that it was “the poverty caused by the bad influence of the English bankers on the Parliament which has caused in the colonies hatred of the English and . . . the Revolutionary War.” This, he said, was the real reason for the Revolution: “the colonies would gladly have borne the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction.”

(for more on the Currency Act, see this.)

Alexander Hamilton echoed similar sentiments:

Alexander Hamilton, the nation’s first treasury secretary, said that paper money had composed three-fourths of the total money supply before the American Revolution. When the colonists could not issue their own currency, the money supply had suddenly shrunk, leaving widespread unemployment, hunger and poverty in its wake. Unlike the Great Depression of the 1930s, people in the 1770s were keenly aware of who was responsible for their distress.

As historian Alexander Del Mar wrote in 1895:

[T]he creation and circulation of bills of credit by revolutionary assemblies…coming as they did upon the heels of the strenuous efforts made by the Crown to suppress paper money in America [were] acts of defiance so contemptuous and insulting to the Crown that forgiveness was thereafter impossible . . . [T]here was but one course for the crown to pursue and that was to suppress and punish these acts of rebellion…Thus the Bills of Credit of this era, which ignorance and prejudice have attempted to belittle into the mere instruments of a reckless financial policy were really the standards of the Revolution. they were more than this: they were the Revolution itself!

And British historian John Twells said the same thing:

The British Parliament took away from America its representative money, forbade any further issue of bills of credit, these bills ceasing to be legal tender, and ordered that all taxes should be paid in coins … Ruin took place in these once flourishing Colonies . . . discontent became desperation, and reached a point . . . when human nature rises up and asserts itself.

In fact, the Americans ignored the British ban on American currency, and:

“Succeeded in financing a war against a major power, with virtually no ‘hard’ currency of their own, without taxing the people.”

Indeed, the first act of the New Continental Congress was to issue its own paper scrip, popularly called the Continental.

Franklin and Thomas Paine later praised the local currency as a “corner stone” of the Revolution. And Franklin consistently wrote that the American ability to create its own credit led to prosperity, as it allowed the creation of ample credit, with low interest rates to borrowers, and no interest to pay to private or foreign bankers . CBO: America Will Never See Full Employment Under Obama

By:  Terence P. Jeffrey at CNSNews.com

words2The Congressional Budget Office is now projecting that the U.S.  economy will never achieve full employment during the eight years Barack  Obama serves as president.

That would make Obama the only American president during the  post-World War II era who never presided over a year in which the  U.S. economy offered full employment to the American people.  Click here to finish reading at CNSNews.com

U.S. Lets Saudis Bypass Regular Airport Security

ByJudicialWatch.org

arabsThe Obama administration has quietly rewarded the Middle Eastern country that produced most of the 9/11 hijackers with a special travel privilege that allows its nationals to bypass normal passport security controls at major U.S. airports.

Only a handful of U.S. allies—including Canada, Mexico, South Korea and the Netherlands—currently enjoy the perk while other American partners like Germany and France are still excluded. Incredibly, the Obama administration has cut a deal with Saudi Arabia, which produced 15 of the 19 hijackers in the 2001 terrorist attacks, to enjoy the privilege under a program called Global Entry.

It’s not the kind of story you’ll see in the mainstream media, but a research center dedicated to investigating radical Islamic terrorist groups, their operations and funding, brought much-needed attention to it this week. Citing Homeland Security sources, the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) reveals that it will mark the first time that the Saudi government has a direct role in vetting who is eligible for fast-tracked entry into the United States.

This is a “slap in the face,” according to IPT, which posts a number of in-depth reports on its website on topics ranging from American jihadist terrorism to the influence of Islamic law on law enforcement and the Muslim Brotherhood. Among the investigations that relate to this particular issue is a 2011 report documenting how textbooks long used in Saudi Arabia’s schools promote religious violence. Keep in mind that most of the 9/11 terrorist and Osama bin Laden himself were born and educated in Saudi Arabia.

It’s downright outrageous that the Obama administration is now making it easier for Saudis to enter the United States. Consider that just three years ago the U.S. government actually placed Saudi Arabia on a list of 14 countries whose travelers would face enhanced security when entering the country. Why? Because a Saudi national named Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to blow up a Detroit-bound U.S. commercial airliner on Christmas Day in 2009.

Around the same time Judicial Watch reported that a Saudi Arabian “rehabilitation” program that supposedly reforms terrorists jailed at Guantanamo Bay has instead served as a training camp for future jihadists. Regardless, the Obama administration supports the program and has sent a number of Guantanamo detainees its way even though many have rejoined terrorist missions that target Americans.

Demanding an end to the Gitmo-Saudi pipeline, a ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee revealed that the list of failed participants in the rehab program reads like a “who’s who” of Al Qaeda terrorists on the Arabian Peninsula. In fact, eleven Guantanamo detainees who graduated from the laughable Saudi rehab appear on a list of most wanted terrorists published by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry.

Here’s another crucial detail; a boatload of money flows from Saudi Arabia to finance international terrorist activities. In fact, a report published by the Congressional Research Service says “Saudi donors and unregulated charities have been a major source of financing to extremist and terrorist groups over the past 25 years.” It also reveals that Saudi Arabia “was a place where Al Qaeda raised money directly from individuals and through charities” and that “charities with significant Saudi government sponsorship” may have diverted funding to Al Qaeda. Considering these alarming facts, it’s definitely not a good idea to relax security standards for Saudi Arabians who want to come to the United States.

The Streets of America in the Very Near Future…

By: Mac Slavo at SHTFPlan.com

cyprus bank runWe’ve seen it time and again over the last five years. Governments overstepping their authority and punishing their people because of the actions of elite banking conglomerates, dirty politicians and bought-off regulators.

Iceland, Greece, Ireland, Hungary, Argentina, Spain, and Portugal have all been pillaged in the name of purported recovery and stability.

Today we’re seeing it in Cyprus, where Euro Zone financiers have threatened to not only rob the populace of their personal savings, but shut off access to bank accounts indefinitely. And, as we’ve seen elsewhere, the people are having none of it.   Finish reading at SHTFPlan.com

Mexican, U.S. Media Too Scared To Cover Border Crime

By:  JudicialWatch.org

cartel memberViolence along the southern border has gotten so out of control that both Mexican and American journalists have stopped reporting it out of fear that drug cartels will retaliate against them and their families.

This means Americans will be kept in the dark about the crisis along the porous and increasingly dangerous Mexican border. We certainly can’t expect the truth from the government. Remember that the nation’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, insists that the region is “as secure as it has ever been.” This delusional assessment has been repeated by Napolitano over and over again in a seemingly desperate effort to make people believe it. Government and Big Business Working Around the Clock To Set Up Cashless Society

By:  Randall Hill

slave2While most industries in America are on the decline, the energy transmission and telecommunication wiring business is booming.  All over the country, new power lines and fiber-optic cables are being installed at a feverish pace.  Crews are also working harder than ever to clear brush and trees from beneath power lines to minimize power, phone, and internet outages.  Sounds good, right?  Not when you realize all this is being done to usher in a cashless society.

Paying with cash means freedom from the prying eyes of government bureaucrats and corporate information peddlers.  Throughout history, having money, whether gold, silver, or paper fiat currency, granted the holder of such currency the freedom to buy whatever they wished, whether they be a French peasant purchasing a used sword or an American colonist buying a new musket.

While most patriots are pre-occupied with the war on the Second Amendment, Big Brother is quietly working on a different plan to take away our liberty.  A new world monetary system is being built right now, and the U.S. is leading the way.  It is a digital currency, and it can only be activated after the designed collapse of the world’s major economies occurs.  And the collapse will occur.

After the collapse, people will beg their governments to do something to return things to normal.  And the politicians will. They will promise them prosperity, as soon as the new digital currency is launched.  This is what the global elite are waiting for.  Having oversight over every purchase made by every single person on Earth will finally give them complete control over mankind, turning virtually everyone into a slave.

With America’s ingenuity, technology, and vast resources, we’re the perfect place to begin setting up the control grid.  Right now there are thousands of maintenance and upgrade projects going on across the country, especially in rural areas.  Many people see the new electrical and communication lines going up in their town and see it as a sign of growth, never realizing it’s all part of a plan that’s being pushed hard by Big Brother and Big Business.

Before cash can be killed, trillions will have to be spent worldwide on the world’s electrical grids and telecommunications equipment.  Once a dependable control grid is put into place, the stage will be set for a one-world currency.  Right now, America is working harder than any other nation to upgrade and extend it’s electrical and telecommunications network.

In 2009, Obama announced a multi-billion dollar plan for a “clean-energy superhighway”.  The following excerpt is from whitehouse.gov:

“The $3.4 billion in Smart Grid Investment Grant awards are part of the American  Reinvestment and Recovery Act, and will be matched by industry funding for a total public-private investment worth over $8 billion.  Applicants state that the projects will create tens of thousands of jobs, and consumers in 49 states will benefit from these investments in a stronger, more reliable grid.”

The following excerpt is from an article in sfgate.com announcing 1.2 billion to be spent in the San Francisco area.

“The $1.2 billion is roughly $500 million more than PG&E spent on San  Francisco infrastructure in the last five years, Lee said. The proposed work  will include:

– Building a new, 3.5-mile electric transmission line stretching from the  foot of Potrero Hill to PG&E’s Embarcadero substation in the South of Market  neighborhood. About 2.5 miles of the line will run offshore.

– Upgrading the Embarcadero and Mission substations to handle more electricity  load. Their exteriors may also be updated to better blend into  their neighborhoods.”

The following excerpt was taken from an announcement made last week at smartgrid.gov

“$250 million in loans for smart-grid technology deployment as part of the US Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utility Service, which is focused on upgrading the electric grid in rural America.

The launch of Grid 21, a private sector initiative to promote consumer-friendly innovations while ensuring proper privacy safeguards and consumer protections. Grid 21 will help consumers get better access to their own energy usage information so that they can take advantage of new tools and services to manage their energy use and save on their utility bills.”

Billions have been spent on broadband expansion in rural areas alone.  The paragraphs below from usda.gov are touting the “Broadband Initiatives Program” borne out of the  ”American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009″

“By September 30, 2010 there were 320 awards obligated that total $3.529 billion.  The total awards were 285 last-mile projects that total over $3 billion, the 12 middle-mile awards total $172.6 million, four satellite awards for $100 million, and 19 technical assistance awards for over $3.4 million.  Awards were made in 45 states and one territory.

The awards will provide access to 2.8 million households, 364,000 businesses, and 32,000 anchor institutions across more than 300,000 square miles.  The projects also overlap with 31 tribal lands and 125 persistent poverty counties. The projects will create more than 25,000 immediate and direct jobs and are expected to contribute to the long-term economic development opportunities in each rural community where a broadband project is launched.”

This article at globalresearch.ca describes several digital currencies already competing for dominance in the world marketplace

A recent article at TheUKGuardian detailed how mobile devices and “contactless payments” are just around the corner.  The following excerpt is from that article.

“Over time mobile and contactless payments will become the preferred and even only payment channels for common purchases and transactions. But in the UK this can only happen by parting with traditional and even entrenched reliance on cash and accepting mobile and contactless payments as the norm.”

rfid chip2What about using RFID chips implanted in the body for payment?  Many tech-savvy members of the lost generation can’t wait until the day when they won’t be burdened down with that wallet or keys.  A recent article in Forbes.com took a look into a growing trend of techies that are implanting themselves with RFID chips.  The following is an excerpt from that article:

“The practical appeal of an RFID implant, in theory, is quick authentication that’s faster, cheaper and more reliable than other biometrics like thumbprints or facial scans. When the chip is hit with a radio frequency signal, it emits a unique identifier number that functions like a long, unguessable password. Implantees like Andrew imagine the ability to unclutter their pockets of keys and keycards and instead access their cars, computers, and homes with with a mere wave of the hand.”

In Louisiana, it’s already illegal to buy “junk or used secondhand property” with cash.  “Second hand” pretty much describes everything I own.  Republican darling Bobby Jindal happily signed the bill outlawing the cash sales in 2011.  The following is an excerpt from the bill.

A secondhand dealer shall not enter into any cash transactions in payment for the purchase of junk or used or secondhand property. Payment shall be made in the form of check, electronic transfers, or money order issued to the seller of the junk or used or secondhand property and made payable to the name and address of the seller. All payments made by check, electronic transfers, or money order shall be reported separately in the daily reports required by R.S. 37:1866.

While in the middle of writing this article, it was announced that account holders in the Mediterranean nation of Cyprus were having up to 10% of the money in their bank accounts confiscated by the government to pay the criminal banksters.  THAT SHOULD SCARE THE HELL OUT OF anybody living in the European Union.  Who will be next? Greece?  Spain?  Italy?

As the world slides deeper into an economic depression, keep your eyes open and you’ll see the control grid being set up.  The only thing we can do as individuals is to use cash more often.   It won’t stop the eventual one-world currency from arriving, but at least we can feel like we’re fighting the system.  Last but not least- a passage from the Bible to send us on our way:

Revelations 13:16-18    And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.  Here is wisdom.  Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six-hundred threescore and six.homeless woman2

Life goes on and there are only so many tomorrows

By:  Lisa Bedford at thesurvivalmom.com

kidzone snowSome of us have become quite pessimistic about the future of America. Dystopian novels, movies, and TV shows become instant hits as we wonder, will the future be more like The Road or Hunger Games? Will my kids grow up in a free world or one in which their freedoms disappear at the whim of politicians?

There’s plenty more pessimism where that came from!

But life goes on. Just tonight I was helping my daughter with a science project, and as she became more and more frustrated, applying fabric glue to little pieces of ric-rac, I said, “Honey, let me do it,” as she went on to finish a homework assignment.

No matter what is happening around me or what the future holds, I still have to be a mom and do mom things.

I still have to plan birthday parties.

I still have to make sure the laundry gets done and that everyone has clean socks and underwear.

Everyday I have to have an answer to the question, “What’s for dinner?”

America may very well be headed toward an economic collapse. It’s hard to imagine any real recovery for an economy in which 47 million Americans are on food stamps, nearly half the population is poor or “low income”, and in January of this year, only 57.9% of the civilian population was employed. There are even more depressing numbers out there if you care to look. Continue reading Life goes on and there are only so many tomorrows

CONFISCATION: Panicked Europeans Rush ATMs as Leaders Move To Seize Funds Directly From Bank Account Holders

By:  Mac Slavo at SHTFplan.com

cyprus bank runOver the last few years political and financial leaders in Europe and the United States have implemented policies, regulations and bailouts costing global taxpayers trillions of dollars with the promise that these measures would lead to economic growth and recovery.

What happened in Europe today is yet further proof that nothing they’ve done has fixed the underlying fundamental issues surrounding the events that led to the crash of 2008.

For those who don’t believe the government is prepared to take extreme measures that may include the seizing of retirement accounts, cash savings or even gold, look no further than Cyprus, the latest recipient of bank bailouts.

As of right now, citizens of Cyprus are scrambling to withdraw funds from their bank accounts after the EU, with agreement from the Cypriot government, announced they will decimate funds held in personal bank accounts to the tune of up to 10% of existing depositsClick here to finish reading at SHTFplan.com

America, The “Offshored Economy”: When Truth Is Suppressed Countries Die

America, we were told, was moving upscale.
